Arts Visalia Presents: Contemporary Painting Exhibition and Joy Harvey

Explore contemporary painting with Arts Visalia during the Month of October. Featuring both local and national artists this exhibition showcases the wide variety of painting techniques and approaches that can be found throughout the art world. Artists include Gretchen Beck, Haesook “Hannah” Lee, Jennifer Lugris, Ampelio Mejia Perez, and Jessica Robles.

Also on display will be a collection of works from Joy Harvey. Having studied Chinese Brush Painting for over 45 years Joy has mastered the artform and created beautiful works featuring traditional Chinese brush painting subjects and animals. As an instructor at Arts Visalia since it’s early beginnings, Joy has shared her talents with many students over the years.

Both exhibitions are on display October 5 through October 28 with an opening reception on October 7 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
